Marble Peaks ⏤ 2019

local basalt, Carrara marble, brass
This object brings together local basalt stone from the Golan Heights and Carrara marble formed in the sea of Tethys, both hardy materials used in ancient times. Shaped as a mountain summit, the object represents the strong bond between the Weizmann Institute of Science and its supporters, which work hand-in-hand to advance science so that it reaches new heights.
